Muslim woman wears headscarf to court, what the judge did was totally unexpected

A Muslim woman learned the hard way when the court system refuse to give her special privileges just because she’s a practitioner of Islam.

The woman was going in to court in an attempt to get her vehicle back from impound after her son got arrested for driving without a license.

Judge Eliana Marengo, who was hearing Rania El-Allou’s case, was none too happy about the woman wearing a hijab into the court room and refused to hear her case.

From Conservative Tribune:

“The same rules need to be applied to everyone. I will therefore not hear you if you are wearing a scarf on your head, just as I would not allow a person to appear before me wearing a hat or sunglasses on his or her head, or any other garment not suitable for a court proceeding,” judge Marengo added.

But the Muslim woman refused to remove her hijab, prompting the judge to threaten to not hear her case, unless she complied and removed the head covering.

Still El-Allou refused, and attempted to play the

‘woe-is-me’ welfare card, speaking about her kids, and how she desperately needed her car back.

But the judge held fast to her decision, and after El-Allou refused yet again to remove her hijab, judge Marengo simply dismissed the case, kicking El-Allou out of her court, until she could be respectful enough to obey the court’s orders”
